Metabolic Testing via a Metabolic Assessment Test (MAP test) or a
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR test) gives you the information you need
to take your training to the next level.
The MAP Assessment tell you exactly where your body burns the most fat
while performing aerobic activities. That's exactly the info your want,
especially if your are a runner or cyclist. Where do you burn the most fat,
so at the end of the race, you can tap into carbohydrate stores to finish
strong.
The Resting Metabolic Rate test tells you exactly how many calories you
need to eat every day in order to gain, lose or maintain weight. Want to
know why you're having trouble putting on muscle mass? You're probably
now getting in enough calories.
Metabolic testing can help you be as strong in the 4th quarter as
you were in the 1st quarter!
Think about it. If running long distances really built endurance and stamina,
why is it that boxers, who run long distances every morning, still get tired
by the 3rd or 4th rounds?
